Exclusive Screening: October 7 HAMAS attack

    The Embassy of Israel held a closed screening, unveiling 47 minutes of chilling video footage capturing the October 7 attack by HAMAS terrorist on Israel. Members of parliament, journalists, and policymakers attended, witnessing previously unreleased evidence.

    Survivor Dhan Bahadur Chaudhary lit a candle and shared his firsthand account, shedding light on the tragedy that unfolded at Kibbutz Alumim near the Gaza border. The attack resulted in over 1,400 casualties, and 240 individuals taken hostage, with 159 still in captivity. Ten Nepali students tragically lost their lives, while Bipin Joshi remains in captivity in an undisclosed location. Six students survived with various injuries.

    The appalling events of October 7 prompted Israel to declare war against Hamas, aiming to eliminate the extremist organization and ensure the security of civil society while bringing all hostages back home.

    Ambassador Goder emphasized the importance of values such as democracy, humanity, respect, and tolerance. He expressed Israel’s commitment to extending a hand of peace to all who uphold these values.
