The Embassy of Israel in cooperation with Tevel b'Tzedek celebrated the 70th anniversary of Independence of the State of Israel on Thursday, 19 April 2018. The photo exhibition was held where the photos of various development activities carried out by Israeli volunteers from Tevel b'Tzedek in the communities in Nepal were displayed. Many community projects that are run by Tevel and their impacts in the community were also shared during the event.
The Embassy tried to bring the Israeli vibe to the day with Israeli food, backdrops and the atmosphere. Shalom Club members, a group of Nepalese who have participated in different courses held in Israel, were also present in the ceremony.
