On February 20, Israeli Ambassador to China Irit Ben Abba and her team visited Guangdong.
The Ambassador met with Wang Xi, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province in Guangzhou.
The Ambassador expressed that she was very happy to visit Guangzhou again. At the meeting, the Ambassador mentioned that the friendly cooperation between Israel and South China has a long history.
The Sino-Israeli Fund located in the biological island of Guangzhou and the Guangdong Israel Institute of Technology in Shantou, Guangdong are both landmark projects of the friendly cooperation between the two sides.
Vice Governor Wang Xi said that Israel is a world-famous innovation capital, and Guangdong has always been at the forefront of scientific and technological innovation. Both sides expressed the hope that the friendship could be further deepened on the basis of friendly cooperation, and the in-depth cooperation in medical treatment, innovation, science and technology, education and other aspects could be strengthened in the future.
