Notary verifications
will be made in person in the presence of the Consul, in the consular section.
Passport
or ID card must identify the applicant or any verified public document, which
includes the applicant's photo and is approved by the Consul to be use for that
matter.
For real estate related notary functions
passports or ID card are obligatory.
Authentication of Documents
To authenticate a document at the Israeli Consulate one must
follow the stages listed below:
Notary procedure – Document must be notarize
at local notary office.
Authentication of notary from provincial
Foreign Affairs Office (FAO).
Payment for Consulate Notary Function fee at
any CITIC Bank branch or online payment link :
https://etrade.citicbank.com/portalweb/ISRvisaPayF.html.
(print and bring
original receipt to the consulate)
For original notary
book one must pay 'Notary Function Fee', for additional copies one must pay
'Additional Notary Function Fee'. List of Costs and Fees
Send to the consulate the following material:
Notary book and its copies (if needed).
One extra copy
for record in the Consulate archive.
Receipt of 'Notary
Function' fee payment.
Passport copy for each original and
each copy.

Mailing fees are to be pay by the recipient.
The Consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou can provide
notary services only for FAO documents that were issued in the following
provinces: Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Fujian.
Life Notary
An individual living abroad and is entitle for payments form
the Government of Israel or other institution (Bituach Leumi, Ministry Of
Defense- Rehabilitation Dep) and is required
to prove he is alive should authenticate his identity by the Consulate. Life
Notary must be done with a personal presence of the applicant. If for any
reason, poor health or long distance one cannot arrive to Consulate, one should
sign in front of the local Notary office and follow the public documents
procedure including fee payment..
Public documents
Verification of a public document
(with the official seal of the relevant local Foreign Affairs Office) does not
require the presence of the applicant.
The Consul will not prepare legal
documents of any kind.
The Consul does not provide
translation or printing services.
The Consul will apply discretion
according to each case separately, and is entitled to deny service if the
action is not according to the law.

Please note:

In
order to receive notary services- appointments should be made in advance through
the above contact information.

All
documents signed at the consulate should be bilingual, one copy in Chinese and
one copy in English or Hebrew. Please make sure you have an approved
translation accepted by the consulate before making an appointment.

All
relevant details in the document must be completed before arriving to the
Consular section (Israeli company’s name and business registration number,
worker’s name and passport number) except for the signature. The document
should only be signed in front of the consul, inside the consular section.

Consular
staff will not instruct a worker how to sign the contract or how to complete
any other action. The procedure should be thoroughly explained to him before he
arrives at the consular section.

Consulate
will not supply any printing or copying services. If the notarization process
is needed on a certain document and several copies, the applicant must come to
Consulate with the document and the copies, prepared in advance
