Verification by means other than an "Apostille" stamp

Verification of a document in a country that is not a signatory to the Hague Convention should be implemented as follows:

1.     After the document is verified by the appropriate authority in the country where the certificate was issued (usually the Foreign Ministry), the person will submit the document to the Israeli embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

2.     The Israeli consular representative at the Israeli embassy in Dakar, Senegal verifies the signature of the competent authority.
