​On 4^th, April, the Deputy Consul General of Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu came to Chengdu University, meeting with Professor Peng Xiaolin, the Vice President. Peng Xiaolin warmly welcomed Uri’s first visit and retrospected exchanges between Chengdu University and Israeli universities. She expressed wishes that Chengdu University can communicate and cooperate with more Israeli colleges and universities, promoting the integration and sharing of higher education resources between our countries. Uri heartily appreciated the warm reception, and said the Consulate and he would provide help for enhancing the cooperation between Chengdu University and universities in Israel. He also hoped that Chengdu University could carry out communication and cooperation in fields like law and pharmacy.

After the meeting, the Deputy Consul General gave a lecture on Israel and Southwestern China at Academic Hall, speaking glowingly of the new development of China-Israel relationship under the One Belt One Road Initiative.
