As of Feb 28, 2022, all kinds of notarization documents for applications of all types of visa should be authenticated by Chinese MFA.
Note: For material submission, please prepare original and copies if needed. Once submitted, materials except for original passport and official documents will not be returned to applicant after visa processing.
Submission of visa application:
Starting from 15th, June 2019, applicants from Chengdu Consulate-Covered Areas (Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guizhou) need to apply visa through the Israel Visa Assistance Service in Chengdu.

- 5 working days upon receiving all required materials. Processing time does not include collection or delivery time. Processing time can be extended in the case that the applicant needs to provide further information. If applicants are required to submit supplementary materials, please submit by post. Applicants are suggested to submit materials at least three weeks in advance.

Make sure the applicant’s contact information is clearly stated on the application form in order to receive the inquiry by the consular section.
The Consul owns the right to demand an interview with the applicant or additional materials in order to make a comprehensive judgment upon the application.
- Please note, Israeli border control makes the final decision regarding entry to Israel and length of stay, even in cases of a valid visa or visa exemption agreements.
Security instructions for people who wish to obtain consular services at the mission offices:
1. Please bring a photo ID.
2. Every visitor and his belongings will be required to undergo a security check.
3. For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, mobile phones and electronic devices.
4. Do not bring large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
5. Do not bring food and/or beverage bottles or containers.
6. The mission’s security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times.
