H.E. Mr. Dan Ben-Eliezer Ambassador of the State of Israel in Romania participated in the 23rd edition of Ja-Ye Europe Company of the Year Competition, organized by Ja-Ye Europe (Junior Achievement Young Enterprise) and hosted by Junior Achievement Romania, which took place in Bucharest between July 20-21, 2012.

The event is a showcase of the best student companies of the year from across Europe. They are judged by a panel of business people on their annual reports, marketing, sales strategy, company presentation, product and/or service.

This year, 200 students from 35 countries participated and presented their Start-Ups, of which Israel’s Mamabaker company was chosen the 1st Runner Up. The Israeli team, which includes 14 students aged 15, invented the “FlourinRoll” - a unique stainless-steel hollow rolling pin with the ability to scatter flour. The product enables clean environment (no dirt hands or dirt flour jar) and it includes an ecological net bag.
