Ambassador Samash presents Letters of Credence

    ​H.E. Mrs. Tamar Samash, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Bucharest, presented her Letters of Credence to President of Romania, H.E. Mr. Klaus Werner Iohannis.

    ​​H.E. Mrs. Tamar Samash, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, presented today, September 10th, 2015, the Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Klaus Werner Iohannis, President of Romania, during an official ceremony at the Cotroceni Palace.

    This event officially marks the beginning of Ambassador Samash’s new assignment to Bucharest, after having previously served here, as Deputy Chief of Mission, between 1988-1991.

    Mrs. Samash informed President Iohannis of the fact that she is thrilled at the idea of rediscovering Romania after the 24 years that have passed between her missions.
