    Book launch: Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle
     
    The Embassy of the State of Israel in Romania is pleased to announce the launch of the iconic book Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle by Dan Senor and Saul Singer at the Hasefer publishing house, within GAUDEAMUS 2014.
     
    H.E. Dan Ben-Eliezer, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Bucharest, will be among the guest speakers, presenting the significance of the book for the business community in Romania. Other speakers will include Deputy Dr. Aurel Vainer, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania and Engr. Daniel Cosnita, President of the Association of Clusters in Romania.
     
    The event will take place on November 20th, starting 12:00, at the Salon of Jewish books published in Romania, within GAUDEAMUS 2014, Romexpo - pavilion A, Stand 101, floor 3.20.
     
    About the book and authors
    Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle is a book originally published in 2009, which explores the success of the Israeli economic model beyond the technical aspects that drove this young nation to thrive despite its limited resources and constant threats, furthermore explaining the Israeli entrepreneurial state of mind.
     
    The book, translated in Romanian by Hasefer publishing house, represents a powerful creative business lesson that shows how a clear vision, effective policies, strong drive and entrepreneurial spirit can change an entire country.
     
    Dan Senor is a former foreign policy official in the United States government and Saul Singer is a columnist for The Jerusalem Post.
