​Ambassador Roded and the Embassy staff joined in the celebrations of the 96th anniversary of  M.L. Anong Nilubol. 

M.L. Anong  has been a dear and cherished friend to Israel for almost 50 years. In  1964 she spent  a year in Israel in the Soreq Research Center which encouraged her since 1983 to take on the task of President of the Thai-Israel Friendship Foundation.  As president, M.L. Anong worked tirelessly to promote the friendly ties between the two nations.

Khunying Anong has throughout the years been especially dedicated to the promotion of education as a tool for development and prosperity. She has continuously worked to share and exchange educational know-how between Thailand and Israel and has thus contributed to capacity building of thousands of teachers through innovative teaching practices shared by MASHAV experts from Israel.

Ambassador Roded and the entire Embassy staff join in wishing M.L. Anong Nilubol  a very happy birthday and continued good health.
