Together, we remember the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. Together, we discussed lessons learned from this tragic history so that it will never repeat. And together, we ensure that memories of the victims live on.
Unlike an official ceremony we held annually on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, this year, Ambassador-designate of Israel Ms. Orna Sagiv welcomed a small group of distinguished guests, namely diplomats, academics, and historians for an intimate gathering to discuss the importance of remembering the Holocaust and the role of social media in keeping the memories alive.
On this occasion, Ms. Sagiv told her family story as her mother was a Holocaust survivor. Our guests also shared their viewpoints and experiences.
We would like to express our gratitude to our speakers, Dr. Tul Israngura Na Ayudhaya, lecturer from Chulalongkorn University and Mr. Pongsorn Bhumiwat (K. Pup), writer of
The Wild Chronicles, for joining and sharing with us some interesting insights.
