On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, we were delighted to host a group of empowering women. All of them were MASHAV alumni. In the event, our DCM Ms. Smadar Shapira and Ambassador Penprapa Vongkovit, Advisor of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and Committee on Labour, former Thai Ambassador to Israel, shared their experiences as female diplomats. Fifteen alumni also told inspirational stories of their own and as we discussed, we have learned so much and are more motivated to take steps towards promoting gender equality.
