Israel's "Medical Clowns" in Thailand & Cambodia

Israel's "Medical Clowns" are coming to Thailand and Cambodia during February 1-5, 2016.

Medical Clown is a part of Israel's well-known Dream Doctor Project.  The Medical Clowns are professional clowns and stage artists who trained in patient's therapy during hospital admission or ambulatory treatment.
The Dream Doctor Project integrates professional medical clowns into the medical services provided at Israeli hospitals, and therefore, makes a unique contribution to patients treatment, recovery and rehabilitation processes.

The Dream Doctor's activity transforms patients and families hospitalization into a more pleasant and less traumatic experience.  Several studies already proved how the presence of medical clowns as part of the treatment team significantly reduces the level of anxiety among children.

Two medical clowns, led by Ms. Avital Dvory, have given lectures to hospital staff and paid door-to-door visits to child patients  in both public and private hospitals, including  Taksin Hospital, Klang Hospital, Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and Bangkok Rayong Hospital in Thailand, as well as Royal Phnom Penh Hospital  in Cambodia.
