    Save the date! The “Fascinating Israel” exhibition will take place at Eden 1, Central World this coming 13-15 July.
     
    In celebration of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's 60th birthday anniversary this year, Thai-Israel-Finland Friendship Club, Central World and the Embassy of Israel in Thailand are delighted to invite you and your family to come and enjoy Israeli dance, live music, food, wine, Dead Sea cosmetics, special tour packages, history as well as technological, agricultural and educational innovations that Israel has to offer in “Fascinating Israel”, 13-15 July, Eden 1, Central World.
     
    Israel  is a small country, located on the southwest tip of the Asian continent and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea, with roughly 8.3 million people. It is the world's only Jewish-majority state; 75% Jews, 17.5% Muslims, 2% Christians, 1.6% Druze and others 3.9%. The Israeli population is linguistically and culturally diverse. Currently, the official languages in Israel are Hebrew and Arabic.
     
    Jerusalem is the capital of the Israel, while Tel Aviv is one of the world's leading high-tech centers, according to the results of a study conducted by Startup Genome and Telefónica Digital. Israel has approximately 4,800 high-tech startups, and therefore, the highest venture capital per person in the world. 
     
    Surrounded by deserts, Israel has famously created a green, agricultural oasis out of its arid landscape via the use of alternative energy technology. After introducing the world's first drip irrigation technology, the Israeli water industry is widely acknowledged as a world leader, especially in innovative agritech.
     


    Since 23 June 1954, the versatile bilateral relations between Israel and Thailand have been demonstrated by a number historical state visits of Thai dignitaries to Israel, including the HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and HRH Princess Chulabhorn. The 60th anniversary of Israel-Thailand diplomatic relations was marked in 2014.
