    The Embassy of Israel in Thailand will open a condolence book in memory of Shimon Peres, the 9th President of Israel, Prime Minister and Statesman who passed away at the age of 93 on Wednesday September 28.
     
    The book will be opened on:
    Thursday September 29, 2016: 12:00 – 16:00 hours
    Friday September 30, 2016: 10:00 – 16:00 hours
    Wednesday October 5, 2016: 14:00 – 16:00 hours
    Thursday October 6, 2016: 14:00 – 16:00 hours

    Peres, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was a statesman and a visionary who earned the respect and admiration of his fellow leaders and the global community.
     
    For 70 years, Peres tirelessly led and shaped the history of modern Israel even before its founding in 1948.
     
    We will always remember his legacy as one of Israel’s founding fathers. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.  May his memory be a blessing.
