    Known by its Hebrew acronym, MASHAV, the Agency's mission is to share the knowhow and technologies which provided the basis for Israel's own rapid development with the rest of the developing world. MASHAV began as a grassroots human capacity building initiative, training motivated local professionals to take projects forward independently, as a design for sustainable growth.
