The Trio Esti Rofe, Krzysztof Kaczka an Perry Schack met in 2004 at Hochschule für Musik und
Theater Munich when the studied in the Masterclass. They became friends and they created a
program with music from Germany, Israel, and Poland. This year the trio played a big concert in
Myanmar, organized by the German Goethe Institut, the Embassy from Israel, Poland and
Germany.
Perry Schack
born 1977 in Munich, international renowned Guitar Solist and chamber musician.
After winning a price at the IBLA Grand Prize New York, he played his debut at the Carnegie Hall.
He won further prices like the Kulturförderpreis Munich (GER), Boston International Guitar
Competition (USA), and the Chamber Music Competition Pittsburgh (USA)
Perry Schack studied at the Hochschule für Musik an Theater in Munich and at the University
Mozarteum Salzburg with renowned guitarists like Franz Halasz and Eliot Fisk. Perry Schack
finished his concert exam and the masterclass with distinction.
He enthralled the concert visitors in important cities and concert halls in the world. Perry Schack
played in capitals like Canberra, Wellington, Tokio, Singapur, Kuala Lumpur, Ottawa, Lima, Brasilia,
Washington D.C., Rom, Paris, Vienna and Berlin.
His recordings are played international and national at radiostations like the BR and SWR. Perry
Schack recorded 6 CDs with longtime chamber music partners like Krzysztof Kaczka (Duo Artus)
or the guitar Quartett, Machado Quartett. This summer Perry Schack recorded a solo album with
classical, romantically, virtuos guitar music.
Esti Rofé, described as one of the most talented flutist of her generation, was born in Israel.
She recently made her Carnegie hall debut as a first prize winner of the 2012 Alexander & Buono
international flute competition. Her wide international career has taken her over the world, giving concerts in
leading halls, such as “Cité de la Musique” and Salle Gaveau, Paris, The “Berliner Schauspielhaus” and the
Tel Aviv Museum.
Esti Rofé was among the very few flutists to be accepted to the prestigious “Cycle de Perfectionnement”
soloist program in the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris, where she studied with Maurice Bourge
and Shopie Cherrier. She studied at the Musikhochschule in Munich under the direction of Professor Andras
Adorjan and received her second degree with highest distinction. Esti Rofé graduated the Rubin Academy of
Music, Tel Aviv.
Esti Rofé is a prize winner of many prestigious international competitions, including the Rampal
international flute competition, Paris, the “Leonardo de Lorenzo” international flute competition, Italy, the
international flute competition “A Puncielli”, Italy, and the Tel Aviv Academy woodwind competition.
Rofé has been a soloist with many orchestras, among them: the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, Roma
Academia Philharmonia Orchestra, The Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem and
“Orchestre de Prix” du CNSM, Paris.
She leads a very active musical life, participating in various festivals including the Danish Chamber music
festival, the “Stars of Tomorrow” festival in Paris, the “Santander” festival in Spain, the Pablo Casals festival
in France and the “Rising Stars” festival in Berlin.
Esti Rofé was a member of the Villa Musica Ensemble in Germany and she was supported by the “Yehudi
Menuhin” Live Music New Foundation for encouraging young artists. She has won an outstanding award
from the Meyer Foundation and the Marc Rich Foundation for artistic achievements and was supported by
the American-Israeli Cultural foundation.
She has recorded for television and radio, including the SWR radio, Germany, the Polish National Radio, the
Israel Broadcasting Authority and the Danish radio and television.
She played as a solo flutist with the English National Opera, The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and The
Moscow Chamber Orchestra, among others.
She is currently the principal flutist of the Israel Camerata Jerusalem.
Krzysztof Kaczka
Krzysztof Kaczka, an international flute soloist, chamber musician and recording artist, was born
in Torun in Poland. In 2012, he was awarded Gold Medal at the Global Music Awards in USA. He
studied at the Musikhochschule Munich (Marianne Henkel-Adorján), Mozarteum Salzburg (Irena
Grafenauer), CNSM Paris (Pierre Yves Artaud) and University of Music and Performing Arts in
Vienna (Wolfgang Schulz ) and played in masterclasses for András Adorján, Jeanne Baxtresser,
Julius Baker, Philippe Bernold, William Bennett, Patrick Gallois, Peter Lukas Graf and Carol
Wincenc. Krzysztof was also the Artist in Residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada.
Between 2002-2012, he was the principal flutist of the Munich Youth Philharmonic, Filharmonia
Sudecka in Poland, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra and Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra in
China and has shared the stage with Long Yu, Jiri Belohlavek, Krzysztof Penderecki, Stephane
Denéve, Maxim Vengerov, Sylvian Camberling, Yo Yo Ma, Lang Lang, Sarah Chang and Midori
among others .
Krzysztof has been a winner and finalist of many international competitions (Adelaide, New
York, Sydney, Pittsburgh ), and has taken part in numerous music festivals and has performed as a
soloist and chamber musician in Europe, Asia, Australia, Brasilia, Peru, New Zealand and USA
at Carnegie Hall, Teatro Nacional Brasilia, Wellington Town Hall, City Hall Dublin, Herkulessaal
Munich.
Currently, he is a visiting professor at Music Department of the PAAET College in Kuwait. He
conducts master classes, clinics as well as workshops in Germany, Canada, Ukraine, Georgia,
Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand, Peru, USA, Vietnam and China .
Krzysztof is a Pearl Flute clinician.
