The International Photography Festival is Israel’s largest photography event and will take place for the 6th time this year.
The Festival has long become an art institution that draws tens of thousands of visitors each year.
From November 22nd to December 1st the Festival will feature 40 international exhibitions by the finest photographers in Israel and the world, including performances, video art, music and more.
The festival is the pinnacle of the annual activity at Photo IS:RAEL, a non-profit, public benefit company (PBC) working to advance its values of social activism dialogue, research and the spotlighting of artistic and social themes through the language of photography.
This year’s festival is dedicated to the theme of Relations. This theme, and all the numerous worlds and interpretations associated with it, has always been a central subject matter for artists, curators, and scholars.
Our goal for this year’s Festival is to examine the theme of relations from different angles, as well as its relevance in today’s world and the new ways in which it can be represented.
Events during the festival will include: An open photography marathon, lectures, panels, night events, dance and music performances, gallery talks, guided tours and more.
