    URBAN SECURITY

In recent years, terror has advanced from the battlefields and distant countries to major cities in Europe, the US, Asia and elsewhere in the world. Major cities, far from war zones and full of tourists and citizens on their way to work, are suddenly having to cope with the threat of terror, explosive devices and other threats.

Terror has moved from the battlefield to the cities we live in!

Life in these cities, some of which are ethnically diverse and with large population of immigrants, is becoming more and more complex. The combination of fear, suspicion, the presence of police and army forces in city centers, and the need to deploy special security forces, conduct screenings and more, has created a new sense of reality in modern cities.

How do we manage all this without disrupting the daily routine of millions?

How do we cope with rising extremism among various sub-groups in the population?

How do we protect cities and take serious security measures, alongside the existence of a regular day-today routine?

Israel has many years of experience coping with these challenges and handling terror threats in its major cities. It has become a world leader in the development of technologies and security systems for cities in the fields of Identifying threats, prevention, coping and confining threats while they're in action and protecting public events and large urban areas.

Research & Development conducted by numerous startup companies in Israel has not overlooked this field, and Israeli companies are dealing with security technologies from several different angles: biometric technologies, sensors, cameras, artificial intelligence, video analytics, and cross-sharing of information between them via advanced cyber technologies.

The brainstorming sessions will discuss in detail new and inventive counter terror solutions, along with Key prominent figures from the Israeli security forces - including Israeli Security Forces, IDF and the Mossad, that will share their invaluable experience and insights from countless of operations through the years.
