    International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust was marked on 27 January 2021 at the UNECA Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event started with opening remarks by the Ambassador of the State of Israel Mr. Raphael Morav, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Stephan Auer, and the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator Dr. Catherine Sozi.
    Members of the diplomatic community and representatives of international organizations residing in Addis Ababa attended the event. The event included a live Zoom testimony of Dr. Joseph Etzion who fled from Nazi occupation in Poland, and eventually arrived in Israel.
