Mifalot is an organization whose mission is to lead social change and development through sports. Mifalot’s “Game of Life” methodology uses sports as a platform for promoting self-confidence, trust, heal trauma and mutual engagement.
Mifalot was founded in 1997 by the former owners of Hapoel Tel Aviv FC. It is the largest organization in the Middle East that uses sports as a platform for social change.
Next to the opening of the seminar Ambassador Morav toured the beautiful village built on a kibbutz model, visited the labs, art workshops, a family house, and met with pupils and the teaching staff.
ASYV, was founded by the late Jewish philanthropist Anne Heyman whom modeled the village after Yemin Orde, an Israeli youth village established in 1953 to care for orphans of the Holocaust.
ASYV is a residential community in rural Rwanda. Its 144 acres area home to youth orphaned during and after the Genocide of 1994. The village host 524 youths from the age of 14 to 18 from difficult backgrounds in order to empower them for pursuing higher education, leadership and contribute to the society.
