Developing the Beekeeping Sector

    ​A professional delegation of senior officials from Ethiopia arrived in Israel to explore ways to develop and promote the beekeeping sector of Ethiopia

    ​he tailor-made program was organized by MATC – MASHAV’sAgricultural Training Center in cooperation with Ethiopia’s Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA).  
     
    The three-week course included lectures, field visits, and knowledge sharing sessions with Israeli experts, and covered topics such as honey production, quality assurance, apiary management, pollination, and extension methods for reaching grassroots level traditional beekeepers.
    The closing ceremony was held at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem with the participation of MASHAV and MATC staff.​
