Deputy Ambassador Leo Vinovezky visited Bujumbura, Burundi, for a special event dealing with PPP (Public-Private Partnership) called  JOURNÉES PORTES OUVERTES - LA COOPÉRATION ET LE DÉVELOPPEMENT DU SECTEUR PRIVÉ in order to contribute to the development of Burundi. In these special days, he met with Vice-President of Burundi, Mashav Alumni, and colleagues from the Embassy of Germany. Israel and Germany recently launched the Africa Initiative based on common efforts to develop some countries in Africa, among them, Burundi.
On the Africa initiative, Israel aims to cooperate with the GIZ on reducing the impact of climate change on the availability of water and land resources (ACCES).
