Celebrating culture at Sacred Music Festival

  •   Ethio-color dance group took over the center stage with a mesmerizing performance of songs and dance from all over Ethiopia.

    Jerusalem (September 4, 2015)—Ethiopian dancer Melaku Belay along with Ethio-color dance group performed at the closing of the Sacred Music Festival in Jerusalem Israel. The dance troupe staged variety of Ethiopian cultural dances on the festival “This is an opportunity for us to be with our Ethiopian brothers and sisters in Israel, to give them some experience of home, and to be in solidarity with them.” said Melaku. The Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival is a harmonious call to all the nations and faiths of the world to come together in equality and to rejoice in themselves. Once a year, musicians with different religious and cultural stands from around the world gather in Jerusalem for four days of performances to celebrate tolerance and brotherhood.
