Ambassador Belaynesh honored the commemoration of the 20th year of Rwanda Genocide by attending the event in Rwanda, among world leaders, ambassadors, government and non-government officials, and the larger Rwandan society who gathered to pay tribute to the over a million people murdered during that time. Ambassador Belaynesh on her way paid a visit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, H.E. Louise Mushikiwabo, and discussed various topics.
Likewise, on April 11th Ambassador Belaynesh and her deputy, Leo Vinovezky, attended the commemoration event for Rwanda Genocide held at the African Union headquarters here in Addis.
