An Israeli soldier was stabbed fatally on Monday afternoon (November 10) after a struggle with a Palestinian who attempted to grab his weapon at the Haganah Train Station in Tel Aviv.

At about 4:30 pm, a young woman was killed and two people injured in a stabbing attack at a bus stop at the Alon Shvut junction. Alon Shvut is located in the Gush Etzion area south of Jerusalem. The attack occurred at the same intersection where three teenage boys were abducted and killed last June. A guard stationed nearby shot and killed the terrorist.

According to an initial investigation into the attack, the driver initially tried to run over the people standing at a bus stop at the entrance to Alon Shvut. When his car struck a cement post placed to prevent such attacks, the driver stepped out of the car and stabbed three people.

Prime Minister Netanyahu: "The terrorism against us knows no borders. It is aimed at all parts of the country for a simple reason. The terrorists and those who incite to it want to get rid of us wherever we are. As far as they're concerned, we don't need to be in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or anywhere else."
