Israel’s agency for international cooperation (MASHAV) in cooperation with UN-HABITAT, launches a course on Gender and Local Governance: Training Course for Local Development Trainers.
The course will take place in the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC) – Haifa, Israel from November 20 to November 30, 2012
AIM OF COURSE
The course aims to strengthen gender in local government through training of trainers:
• Familiarize participants with existing tools for gender and local governance training
• Enhance confidence and skills to deliver gender training to diverse groups
• Experience concrete examples of gender mainstreaming and women’s empowerment in Israel during study visits
REQUIREMENTS
The course is intended for local authorities and government trainers institutions
