Israel has a new Ambassador to Cameroon

    ​Mr. Nadav COHEN was amongst the main guests at Unity Palace in Yaoundé – Cameroon on Tuesday 7th January 2014. The occasion was an official ceremony for the presentation of letters of credence by Israel's designated ambassador to Cameroon.

     

    Flanked by his Deputy, Mrs Noah SHAHAR, the Israeli delegation arrived at Unity Palace at 13:00 to military honours, troop review, the national anthems of Cameroon and Israel and a salutation of the flags.
     

     

    Mr. Nadav COHEN went on to hand his letters of credence to the Head of State H.E. President Paul BIYA in a solemn official ceremony in the presence of the Minister of External Relations and other close collaborators.

    He thus became His Excellency Nadav COHEN, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Cameroon as well as non-resident Ambassador of Israel to Equatorial Guinea and the Central African Republic.

    Having served in the foreign service of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in the embassies of Israel in New Zealand, Egypt, Russia and Ireland, Ambassador COHEN was Director of Palestinian Affairs and Regional Cooperation at the MFA at the time of his appointment.
