In partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Small and Medium sized enterprises of the Republic of Cameroon, the Embassy of Israel is organising an Innovation and entrepreneurship Seminar in Yaounde from 28th No 2016 to 1st December 2016.
Based on the Israeli experience, the objective of the Seminar is to train 100 young Cameroonians on how to develop Hi-Tech and Innovative solutions to everyday challenges and how to grow a successful business/start-up from their initiative.
As such, the best Cameroonian and Israeli experts will develop the following themes at the seminar:
- Hi-Tech innovation in Cameroon: Opportunities and Challenges
- Israel start-up culture
- The contribution of Israeli Hi-Tech industry to Israel's economy
- From idea to Business
- Starting a Company in Cameroon
- Writing a business plan
- Intellectual property rights
- Marketing
- How to find local funding
- etc

Criteria for selection
- Prospective candidates who already have a startup/business should describe their initiative
- Candidate who have not yet started a business should describe their business concept

- Organisers may be able to cover lodging and transportation costs for candidates who register early.
