The program has consolidated all the information about opportunities, programs, and benefits of the various government offices, in one convenient place.
The program will assist you with:

Who is eligible for the program?
The Israel Brain Gain Program is designated for:
>Any Israeli living abroad who is interested in returning to Israel
>Providing they hold a Bachelor`s degree or above
>From any of the technology and business fields or from Academia
The program assists professionals and their families throughout the entire process of returning to Israel; from the early stages of job searching all the way to acclimating to daily life in Israel

About the program
The Israel Brain Gain Program is led by the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It is directed by Dr. Nurit Eyal who has held many key roles in the Biotechnology and Life Science fields. The program is run under Matimop, the executive agency of the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS), of the office of the chief scientist and it is a joint collaboration of the Ministry of Absorption, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Finance Ministry and the Planning and Budgeting. Committee of the Council for Higher Education. The steering committee is made up of representatives of these offices.

חוזרים - לתעשייה ולאקדמיה בישראל
אודות התכנית
התכנית הלאומית להשבת אקדמאים נוסדה בעקבות החלטה ממשלתית בנושא והושקה ביוני 2013. התכנית הוקמה מתוך ראיית-על כוללת של צרכי המשק הישראלי, הזקוק היום יותר מתמיד לאנשי הייטק, מדענים חוקרים, מנהלים ומהנדסים מובילים בתחומם שצברו ידע, השכלה וניסיון יקרי ערך מעבר לים.
למי מיועדת התכנית
התכנית פונה לאקדמאים ישראלים, בעלי תואר ראשון ומעלה, השוהים בחו"ל ומתכננים לחזור לישראל, בעתיד הקרוב או הרחוק, ומעוניינים להשתלב בתעשייה או באקדמיה הישראלית וכן לעולים פוטנציאלים הרוצים להקים בית חדש בישראל. אלפי אקדמאים ישראלים הנמצאים בחו"ל משלל תחומי עיסוק, מהתעשייה ומהאקדמיה כבר רשומים לתכנית.
שלב ראשון בחזרה לארץ הוא מציאת עבודה ההולמת את כישוריכם והידע שצברתם. לתכנית קשר ישיר ואישי עם מעסיקים רבים בתעשייה ובאקדמיה. נוכל להניח את קורות חייך על שולחנו של מנהל ההשמה ולעקוב ולעדכן אחר התקדמות תהליך ההשמה. נציע לך משרות מתאימות ונפנה עבורך למעסיקים חדשים שעדיין לא שותפים בתכנית.
ליווי בתהליך החזרה
התכנית מושתתת על יחס וליווי אישי לאורך כל תהליך החזרה. לשם כך אנו מפעילים מתאמי קשר אישיים לכל אקדמאי המעוניין לחזור. מתאם הקשר ילווה אתכם ויסייע לכם החל במציאת עבודה וכלה בכל תהליכי הקליטה והחזרה. התכנית מקיימת שיתוף פעולה הדוק עם המעסיקים, המשרדים המטפלים והארגונים השונים כדי להקל את חזרתכם לארץ.
מחקר וגיבוש מדיניות
התכנית הוקמה על בסיס החלטת ממשלה לטיפול בנושא "בריחת המוחות". אנו עוסקים באיסוף נתונים, עריכת סקרים ומחקרים וגיבוש המלצות עבור קובעי המדיניות במדינה.
