The Ambassador's visit to Fukushima 2014

    Ambassador Ruth Kahanoff on Dec. 2nd has paid a visit to Fukushima Prefecture, as a part of the special ties between Israel and the prefecture.

    During the visit, the Ambassador has met with new governor, Mr. Uchibori, and heard about the current events and challenges of Fukushima.

    Ms. Kahanoff has also visited local farmers in Minami Soma who are using Israeli technologies in the greenhouses, and enjoyed tasting their high quality and rich-tasting tomatoes.

    Another visit was made to Tungaloy Corporation, producer of advanced cutting tools, which is a part of the IMC group which is located in the TEFEN Industrial Zone in northern Israel.
