​On Monday, August 26, Chargés d'Affaires ad interim Peleg Pablo Lewi and our official mascot character Shaloum chan paid a courtesy call on Tokyo Governor Naoki Inose.

The main purpose in this visiting Tokyo Metropolitan Government was to root for Tokyo as the International Olympic Committee (IOC) prepares to make a final decision regarding the 2020 summer Olympic and Paralympic games host city on Sept. 7.

Chargés d'Affaires ad interim Peleg Pablo Lewi told Tokyo Governor Naoki Inose, that
"I don't doubt that Tokyo will host a high-level and special Olympics, If elected".
