Puppet Therapy Lecture Series

    Ms. Daniela Hadasy, drama therapist and Ventriloquist, and Ms. Maskit Shochat,
    Head of the Educational Center at Schneider Children's Medical Center, Israel
    are visiting Japan (Tokyo and Sendai) in order to conduct workshops and lectures for educational institutes. Their aim is to assist with the rehabilitating of post-tsunami trauma victims in their early childhood.
     
    Ms. Hadasy and Ms. Shochat were invited by the Japan Puppet Therapy Association (JPTA)
    who is organizing and coordinating this unique and important visit (30 May~6 June).
    The therapist will be using (handmade) puppets as it is part of the therapy process.
     
    Yesterday they gave a lecture at the Tokyo Women's Medical University about the puppet's role in the therapy process.
