On September 3 (Mon) at Chidorigafuchi Park in Chiyoda city, commemorative tree planting ceremony, marking the cordial relations between the Israeli embassy in Japan and Chiyoda City, was performed.
This year, Israel and Japan celebrating the 60th years anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Israeli embassy in Japan, is stationed for 44 years in Chiyoda city, Tokyo.
Mayor Chiyoda Masami Ishikawa and Tel Aviv mayor Ron Huldai attended the ceremony, both of them planted an olive tree, which is a symbol of peace and prosperity, given by Israel.
