    ​Another milestone has been achieved in sience communities Japan and Israel.

    ​On February 16 - 17, 2016, Five researchers of Technion Israel Institute of Technology visited Japan and held the 1st Workshop with National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Tsukuba.

    　

    The workshop started with opening remarks by Dr. Kazuhito Hashimoto, President of NIMS, and Dr. Wayne Kaplan, Executive Vice President of Technion, and researchers from both institutions presented and discussed their studies on the theme of "Innovative Materials and Nanotechnology".

     
    In the evening reception, Ambassador Kahanoff offered her congratulations and spoke of her expectations in furthering academic exchanges and cooperation in scientific research between NIMS and Technion.
