Many Israeli artists, dancers, musicians of different music styles, authors and culture personalities visit Sweden each year to perform on Swedish stages. The Cultural Affairs Department is in general somehow involved in these events in cooperation with Swedish cultural representatives. The department arranges exhibitions and concerts, participates in book fairs and film festivals and invites Swedish cultural representatives, either individually or in delegations, to participate in similar events in Israel.
