Dr Yuval Steinitz, Israel's Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy & Water was in Singapore for a three days’ work trip.
During his stay, Dr Steinitz spoke to the media and briefed them about the new natural gas and oil exploration sites in Israel’s Economic Zone (EEZ), as well as the development of the Israeli gas market.
Minister Steinitz also witnessed the signing of MOU between NTU and Ben-Gurion University of Negev regarding collaboration in the field of Cybersecurity.
The Minister also met with Singaporean companies like Keppel and Pavilion Energy to discuss natural gas opportunities in the Eastern Mediterranean basin.
The minister called upon Mrs Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transportation and Minister of Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli.
