The concert by Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with
Maestro Zubin Mehta at the helm, at Esplanade Concert Hall marked the orchestra
and the maestro's 80th birthday season.
The evening was an enchanted one with the orchestral
works of Beethoven, Ravel and Tchaikovsky performed under the deft baton of
Maestro Mehta and acclaimed IPO.
The one night only concert gave Singapore fans an
opportunity to celebrate the milestones and be mesmerized by the legendary
Maestro and the110 members of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Guest of Honor for the evening was Singapore Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong.
