In observance of the Holy month of Ramadan, a special Iftar dinner and reception was hosted by Ambassador of
Israel in Singapore, Ms Yael Rubinstein on Monday, 20th June 2016 at the Jacob Ballas Centre. Many honorary representatives from the Muslim and the
Jewish community and the leaders of the business community attended the event. Dr Mohammed Maliki Bin Osman, Senior
Minister of State, Ministry of Defence & Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was
the Guest of Honour for the Evening Dinner. The key speakers for the
evening were Imam Habib Hasan al-Attas of the Muslim community, and Rabbi Mordechai Abergel, Chief Rabbi
of the Jewish community.
More than 70 dignitaries and guests from Government, Religious and Business groups
in Singapore attended the Annual Iftar Dinner & Reception held this week.
