About the
country
Dominica, officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, is a country on
a mountainous Caribbean island with natural hot springs and tropical forests.
In the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, Boiling Lake is covered with steam and
hot due to the volcanic activity. The park also encompasses sulfur vents, the
65 m high Trafalgar waterfalls and the narrow Titou Gorge. To the west, is the
capital of Dominica, Roseau, with colorful wooden houses and botanical gardens.
