Following the successful Start Jerusalem event last year in Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is once again hosting an international gathering of startups entitled START HAIFA on December 2 to 7, 2018 in Haifa, Israel.

The Embassy of Israel, in partnership with the Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP), and in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB), and QBO Innovation Center, recently conducted the PITCH HAIFA competition at the QBO Innovation Center, DTI International Building in Makati City.

Antipara, presented by its founder Aaron Hilomen, won the competition. Antipara will participate in Start Haifa. Antipara Exploration is an underwater 3D visual mapping and analytics company that uses its own built underwater towed platform with camera and sonar system to provide maps and relevant information for marine management.

The international competition START HAIFA will provide young startup innovators the opportunity to learn from Haifa’s vibrant high-tech ecosystem, and meet with leading incubators and venture capitalists in Israel.
