Manila makes history and Israel is a part of it…
Israel’s pavillion in History Con highlights the special bondship between our two countries from President Manuel Quezon saving Jewish lives from the Holocaust to President Manuel Roxas’ voting for the creation of the State of Israel – a long journey of friendship ever since.
Two additional highlights are: Israel’s mission after super typhoon Yolanda as the first country to arrive to lend support; and the winner of Israel’s first X Factor happened to be a caregiver from the Philippines – Rose Fostanes.
