President Benigno Aquino III conferred the 2014 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas in Malacañan Palace on December 5, 2014.Four organizations received Kaanib ng Bayan award for their significant contribution to Philippine society.
Among these organizations was the Israel-based American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, the world’s leading Jewish humanitarian assistance organization, and who also donated funds to victims of super typhoon Yolanda in November 2013.
