Israel donates to Caloocan City

Israel helps "Habagat" victims

    The State of Israel, through its Embassy in Manila, donated sacks of rice, instant noodles and canned goods to assist the people of Caloocan currently recovering from the ef
    fects of "Habagat".

    Israeli Ambassador Menashe Bar-On, together with Ms. Zeny Ubaldo, chairperson of the Shalom Club of the Philippines, and Rev. Fr. Rufino Yabut, Director of Caritas Kalookan and the Bishop of Caloocan were present to officially handover the relief goods in support to the Filipino people.

    The Embassy also conveyed its condolences to the government. The State of Israel also remains steadfast in cooperation with the Republic of the Philippines. 

    The Shalom Club of the Philippines is an alumni organization of professionals who participated training courses (MASHAV) in Israel. The Shalom Club caters to activities to benefit and that assist Philippine society.
