    The State of Israel, through its Embassy in Manila, recently donated PHP700,000 for the benefit of those currently recovering from the effects of typhoon Sendong. The Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Yaniv Revach, was present to officially handover the donation in support the Filipino people, on behalf of the government and the people of Israel.
     
    The Embassy also conveyed its condolences to the government, and is saddened by the number of lives lost in the flash floods. Israel also remains steadfast in cooperation with the Republic of the Philippines.
     
    The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its spokesperson Yigal Palmor, has also offered its condolences and is at the disposal of the Philippines, when needed.
