Over 100 children from the barangay were given toys and goodies as the Christmas holiday dawns upon the country. The Ambassador of Israel, H.E. Menashe Bar On will be spearheaded the event together with members of the Embassy and the Shalom Club. At the event was Barangay West Triangle chairperson, Mr. Beng Sia.
An Israeli clown from the Dream Doctors Project was also on-hand to cheer the children up. Moshe Twito – an actor and medical clown entertainer – has been performing at various public hospitals in Manila.

The Dream Doctors project integrates professional medical clowning into the medical services provided at Israeli hospitals. Established in 2002, the Dream Doctors Project is now operating at 20 hospitals throughout the country, with 70 medical clowns working in various pediatric wards and clinics.
The Shalom Club of the Philippines is the group of MASHAV alumni scholars who conducts effective voluntary projects for Filipino communities. It is currently headed by Ms. Zeny Ubaldo.
MASHAV, Israel's Agency for International Cooperation, conducts training programs which has welcomed participants from all around the world. Filipino scholars and professionals are regular participants in MASHAV courses in Israel.
