Yesterday a group of students from the Pontifical Biblical Institute headed by Rev. Anthony Forte, Professor of Biblical Greek and Latin, visited the Jewish museum and the Great Synagogue of Rome.
The students were enlightened in the Jewish history and the history, heritage and culture of the Roman Jewish community in particular.
The students shared their excitement and the many new things they learned and discovered as many of them are coming from different parts of the world as Asia, Africa, South America and it was their first visit to a synagogue and first encounter with the Jewish history.
