Ambassador Oren David visited the region of Calabria.
During the visit he participated and spoke at the event organized by the association of Cedro in Santa Maria del Cedro.
In his speech the Ambassador highlighted the important relation between the town and the Jewish community and the symbolism of the Cedro which are yearly given to the Jewish Italian communities during the festivity of Sukkot.
On this occasion the Ambassador met with the Bishop, the Mayor and the members of the association of Cedro.
During his visit to Calabria Ambassador David also visited the towns of Lamezia Terme, Scalea, Crotone and Santa Severina where he met with the local bishops and mayors.
