On June 13, 2019, the Israeli Embassy to the Holy See celebrated 25 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and the Holy See at the central Synagogue of Rome.
Over 400 guest took part in the event including the Vatican Secretary of State (Prime Minister) Cardinal Parolin, Cardinals, Archive, leaders of the Jewish community and diplomatic corps.
The event included greetings from Ambassador Oren David, Cardinal Parolin and chief rabbi Di Segni. After that a Jewish sacred music concert, cantors from Unites State and Israel sang (Mr. Frieder Raphael, Mr. Barnoy Ofer, Mr. Goldstein Raymond and Mr. Natanel Lam) as well as cantors and the choir of the Rome Synagogue.
The poetry was based mostly on the biblical text, and most of the guests were exposed to it for the first time.
